Program Description:
Our Learn to Meditate program consists of 4 x 1hr sessions, with a different focus allocated to each week.
Each session incorporates at least three experiential meditation exercises – so you get immediate benefits and learn skills for future practice.
Weekly Focus
Week 1 RELAX: Set goals, build awareness of the benefits of meditation, and get practicing with a range of simple approaches to meditation.
Week 2 FOCUS: Delve into the concepts of ‘mindful focus’ and ‘relaxed attention’, as important underpinnings to developing a meditation practice.
Week 3 SELF AWARENESS: Cultivating self-awareness is a key component of mindfulness. A selection of practices this week will develop your self-awareness in order to enhance your meditation practice.
Week 4 PUTTING IT TOGETHER: Consolidate your learning in a practice way and reflect on your future meditation goals.
